Wabalogic ("we", "us", or "our") built the Waba Medical Pics (WMP) app as an Enterprise/Commercial application. This SERVICE is provided by Wabalogic and is intended for use as is. This page is used to inform users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information and Medical Data for anyone using our Service.
1. Information Collection and Use
The WMP app acts strictly as a secure conduit between the user's device and the designated hospital or organizational server. Wabalogic does not independently collect, store, monetize, or have access to the patient data, medical images, or credentials transmitted through this app. All data captured by the app is encrypted and routed directly to the specific Hospital Server configured by the user via the in-app QR code setup. The retention, security, and privacy of that transmitted data are governed entirely by the policies of the respective hospital or organization hosting the server.
2. Device Permissions
To function properly, the WMP app requires the following device permissions:
• Camera: The app requires camera access for two primary functions: 1) To scan the initial Server Configuration QR code to securely route the app to the correct hospital endpoint. 2) To capture medical images as intended by the core functionality of the application.
• Network/Internet: To transmit the captured images and authentication credentials to the configured hospital server.
We do not use the camera in the background, nor do we capture data without the user's explicit action.
3. Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app, we may collect data and information (through third-party products or native Apple crash logs) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other operational statistics. This data contains no personally identifiable medical information and is used strictly to fix bugs and improve app stability.
4. Third-Party Services
The app does not use third-party tracking, advertising, or analytics services that harvest user data. The app operates as a direct client-to-server application.
5. Security
We value your trust in providing us your information. The app uses industry-standard encryption protocols (HTTPS/TLS) to transmit data to your designated hospital server. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security. The ultimate security of the stored data relies on the destination hospital server's infrastructure.
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted.
